Vicki Krohn Amorose is an artist and writer whose book, Art-Write: The Writing Guide for Visual Artists, is used internationally by artists and art schools. Based in Eugene, Oregon, Vicki is semi-retired and focused on creative pursuits. She was a featured speaker at the first Global Fine Artist Summit and continues as a writing mentor for ProfessionalArtist.com. She holds a BA in art history from University of Michigan and a BFA in fine art from Academy of Art University San Francisco, with further course work from Duke University and NODE Center Berlin. Her background includes magazine and educational media writing, voiceover artist and workshop leader. She believes in artists supporting other artists and the power of words to connect art to audience.
