Vicki Krohn Amorose is an artist and writer whose book, Art-Write: The Writing Guide for Visual Artists, is used internationally by artists and art schools. Based in Eugene, Oregon, Vicki works with several organizations with a focus on contemporary art. Vicki is a mentor at Professional Artist Institute and an artist member of Gray Space Project and Eugene Contemporary Art. She holds a BA in art history from University of Michigan and a BFA in fine art from Academy of Art University San Francisco, with further course work from Duke University and NODE Center Berlin. Vicki was a featured speaker at the 2019 Global Fine Artist Summit, a virtual event attended by 23,000 international artists. Her background includes leading workshops, magazine and educational media writing, and voiceover. She believes in the power of words to connect art to audience.
